OUR CAMP DAY

The WINNIHOCKEY CAMP setting is truly special—historic, picturesque, and thoughtfully designed. Our camp features separate Cabin Rows for boys and girls, each nestled on its own scenic peninsula, with a shared lawn and waterfront area where the entire camp community comes together.

Not only do we have an amazing Senior Staff made up of accomplished former players, town & club coaches, educators, first responders and veterans, but we are also incredibly fortunate to have an exceptional team of high school, prep school and college-aged student-athletes from the Northeast hockey community. While their impressive skills and experience stand out both on and off the ice, it’s their genuine heart, character, and dedication that truly make a difference.

As Cabin Counselors, they do so much more than coach and enjoy playing classic camp games—they create a welcoming, uplifting environment where every camper feels supported, encouraged, and valued. Their passion for hockey is matched by their commitment to mentorship, teaching not only the fundamentals of the game but also the life lessons and values it instills.

This unique blend of leadership, care, safety and enthusiasm is what transforms a week at camp into an unforgettable experience. Each cabin has dedicated Cabin Counselors who prioritize their campers’ well-being and personal growth, providing consistent support throughout every aspect of camp life. While our incredible staff is committed to connecting with every camper, one of the most rewarding parts of camp is watching the natural, meaningful bonds that form between campers and their Cabin Counselors as the week unfolds.

From playing “Hockey Dodgeball” and ripping foam pucks, to the camp scavenger hunt, giant parachute, slip ‘n slide, water fight, swimming, fishing, and taking the famous Lake Shot — every day at WINNIHOCKEY is packed with fun and laughter. Evenings bring fireside karaoke glow nights, s’mores with The Mighty Ducks, our ice cream party, and moments of calm — like chipping golf balls or reading a book in an Adirondack by the lake. And of course, we can’t forget the exciting skills competitions and the daily WINNICUP Tournament games!

Our mission — and what’s most rewarding to us as camp owners and to our incredible staff — is seeing our campers make amazing memories, build lasting friendships, and truly love being at camp. The happiness and smiles on every camper’s and staff member’s face each and every day are what inspire us to keep building the special WINNIHOCKEY tradition for great kids, summer after summer!

The WINNIHOCKEY Difference For young athletes—especially hockey players—schedules are often packed with ice time, elite programs, practices, games, and tournaments. While these experiences are valuable, WINNIHOCKEY offers something refreshingly different—a chance to play purely for the joy of the game in a low-pressure, high-fun environment. Here, hockey is at its purest—street hockey with friends from across New England—all while campers build character, confidence, and independence in a supportive setting away from home.
