We know that the first day of camp is a big moment filled with excitement and anticipation, and we’re here to make sure everything goes smoothly for you and your camper. With that in mind, we’ve thoughtfully designed an arrival process that helps set a relaxed, stress-free tone from the very beginning.
Please take a moment to review this information so you’re all set for a wonderful start on Sunday, August 16th, when camper check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Families should plan on returning between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 21st.
Our closing ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM and will be a heartwarming end to a memorable camp session. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out we’re here to support you throughout your WINNIHOCKEY Camp experience!

Please plan to stop for a meal or bring breakfast with you so your camper is fully fueled upon arrival. After completing the check-in process, setting up their bunks, and taking part in our welcome activity, campers will enjoy their first delicious camp lunch at 1:00 PM.
SUNDAY CAMP ARRIVAL | August 16th @ 3:00 PM
Upon arriving, drive directly under the sign and continue straight down the main entry road. Follow the signage to the designated parking area. From there, walk towards the lake with your equipment bag, stick, and personal luggage for the week. You’ll find our Camper/Family Check-In tables to begin your official arrival process.

Families wishing to select a WINNIHOCKEY Snack Shack option for their camper can complete payment using cash or check.
WINNIHOCKEY GEAR PURCHASES STEP 2B
Pick up and pay for your PRE-ORDERED WINNIHOCKEY merchandise at the check-in table. Bring cash or check for payment—please note that all pre-orders are final. While supplies last, a limited inventory of WINNIBRAND™ gear items will also be available for purchase at the Gear Table!
NURSE CHECK IN & MED DROP OFF STEP 3
Families, if applicable, please be prepared to provide your camper's packaged and labeled medication, along with any relevant care notes to review with our Registered Nurse. If you have specified in the Medical Form and have established communication via Email communications that your camper has additional dietary needs, kindly confirm this with our nurse. If part of their care plan, please have a cooler or tote with the necessary food items ready for storage before cabin setup.
MOVE IN & SET UP STEP 4
After completing the Check-In process, campers and families will refer to the Cabin Assignment Board (lists).
The girls’ cabins are located at the start of the Peninsula to the right of the totem pole, followed by the younger boys’ cabins just beyond them, both along that same stretch known as Pine Row. The main boys’ cabins are located on the Peninsula to the left of the totem pole, known as Marina Row.
Families are welcome to accompany their camper to their cabin, help make their bed, meet their cabin counselor(s), and get settled in together. Once settled, your cabin counselor will assist with putting on your stick blade protector, and campers should have their equipment ready with sneakers on and their camp jersey on for play.
Take a moment to snap a few family photos at the cabin or by the lake as you begin saying your goodbyes for the week.
FAMILY GOODBYES & DEPARTURE STEP 5
Families will say their camper goodbyes for the week and transition back to their cars to depart camp until returning on Thursday for the Closing Ceremony & Camper Pick Up.
FRIDAY CLOSING CEREMONY & PICK UP | August 21st @ 11:00 AM
Families plan your travel to arrive back at camp between 10:30-11:00 AM. Park in the same lot as first day. Meet at the mainland Baseball Field (if its raining go to the Sports Center). The Closing Ceremony begins@ 11:OO AM; upon conclusion, campers will be dismissed to their families and any additional medications will be returned directly to guardians at the Nurse's table. Camper Luggage & Equipment will be ready, organized & labeled either directly with your camper or on the basketball courts for loading and departure, marking the conclusion of an incredible week of WINNIHOCKEY!
Gluten Free & Specialty Diet SPECIAL NOTE
If you have specified in your Reservation Confirmation - Medical Form & established communication via Email that you are planning to bring a labeled cooler or tote of specialty food items to camp as options to eat beyond our gluten free menu items, please plan on us receiving it at the Nurse Check In Table STEP 1 B for storage in the Mess Hall Refrigerator &/or Infirmary during your arrival process. These will also be ready for return at the Nurse's table at the conclusion of the Closing Ceremony.
